Selected experience in global health and international development through activities undertaken since the early 2000’s in different countries.

  • Program supervisor for a six- to eight-week summer internship program for US medical and public health students in The Gambia and Senegal, West Africa. Also contributor to the Global Health Integration Module: MCH in Senegambia & Cuba . (Between 2003 - 2014).

  • Worked with partners in the US, Canada, Nigeria, and The Netherlands to provide professional technical services to various entities in the US, Canada, and Nigeria. (2010 - 2016).

  • Research studies in different parts of the US have used cross-sectional, case-control, and cohort datasets to investigate a wide range of health topics, including: assessment of bacterial spores in the hospital air, examining the role of the built environment on health, behavior, studying cancer outcomes, and investigating the impact of disasters on health. (2004 - 2022)
